It is with great sadness that, in light of the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Fairy Enchanted Princess Ball.
We had hoped that by postponing to late August, we would be safely able to hold our event. Unfortunately, this pandemic is still not behind us. Our area has been fortunate to have had very few cases of COVID, however with the current nationwide upswing in cases, we cannot safely assume that this will still be the case in late August.
Additionally, we do not wish to risk the health and safety of our guests and volunteers; an event of this nature creates significant challenges for following the social distancing and mask wearing guidelines still in effect.
Therefore, we are making every effort to help those of you who were looking forward to attending this year’s Princess Ball by offering you the following options:
You may hold your tickets and use them in 2021. At this point, we have tentatively slated the event for late March, but will continue to push back the date as needed until we can safely hold our event.
If you would like a refund, we request that you do so no later than September 1 by mailing or dropping off your tickets with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to First Baptist Church of Franklin, 1041 Liberty Street (Do not send them to the Chamber of Commerce). Once we receive your request, we will gladly refund your tickets.
